Hi, my name is Lindsey and I have lived in Malmesbury for 7 years. I have a passion for dogs and I have 6 years experience training dogs and supporting owners to better understand and meet their dogs needs. I have a Jack Russell Terrier called Elvis. Malmesbury locals may recognise this little chap! One day I will also have a Gun dog.
I have completed training through the Cambridge Institute of Dog Behaviour and Training, the Institute of Modern Dog Trainers (IMDT) and a variety of other courses and workshops
CPD courses
I want YOUR dog to be happy, healthy and safe. This can be achieved with good leadership to develop a trusted caring relationship and understanding how to meet your dogs needs so that can learn.
These are the key areas all dog owners need to focus on to achieve a harmonious relationship with their dog…
On Your Terms - Clear and effective communication, setting the expectations, boundaries and building trust. Inside and Outside - The walk begins at home!
Food - You are the resource manager - meet your dogs‘ basic needs by providing appropriate, energy rich food and create a strong value associated to you.
Safety - To take care of your dogs physical and emotional safety. Responsible dog ownership -lifestyle and well being.
Access and Alone time - We all need peace. Be aware of attention seeking behaviour or over dependence that can lead to anxiety in your dog. Manage the space.
Limits - Know your limits and your dogs. Training doesn’t need to be hard. Know when it’s not a good time for training and that’s ok.
